Online registration is mandatory for the Championship and can be made at the link below.
National Championship Category Registration is NOW CLOSED! Registration for the Champs Challenge 36/73km is available on Race Day! On the day registration is only available for the Champs Challenge & Juniors if required. On race weekend competitors must go to race registration to complete their registration and collect race numbers and event information pack. Registration is open on Saturday from 2pm - 4.30pm and Sunday from 8.30am - 9.30am. The Water bottle drop for each of the out course feed stations will close at 9:40am Important Note: To insure the safety of all competitors and marshals there will be a course cut off time of 3.30pm at the 'Yellow Water River' Bridge Crossover point. Riders not meeting the cut off time at this point will be directed by marshals back to the Start/Finish area along the return course trail. **Championship Race License
Championship race categories are open to Cycling Ireland licence holders with an IRL national designation only. Those riders wishing to take part in the Championship race categories above must hold either a Full Race Licence or Limited Competition Licence.
*Champs Challenge MTB Sportive Day License
*Non IRL riders and those riders requiring a 1 day licence (i.e. non - licence holders/non competition/introductory licence) cannot ride the championship category races but can enter the Champs Challenge MTB Sportive (36km or 73km). Just type 'NA' in the UCI Category and License Number box and select the 73km or 36km Sportive event. Follow the instructions and select 'Sportive License' which is included in the Champs Challenge entry fee. You will be required to sign the license registration sheet on the day as part of registration.
